We are so excited to participate in this year's event, and we hope you will help us reach our goal to support homeless animals in Kansas City.

Here is our story:

On the Ball's owner Meagan adopted her first pup from Strutt 11 years ago. Her name was Bizie and she was a faithful companion and loved family member for all those years. Unfortunately Bizie passed away this June from cancer. She fought hard for almost 10 months but unfortunately the disease was too strong for her little body. During her battle with cancer, she was lively and playful! She enjoyed an amazing quality of life until she crossed the rainbow bridge in her home, next to Meagan.

This year, Meagan and On the Ball are dedicating their fundraising efforts in support of Bizie's life and all other pups that have left us too soon.

Every animal deserves a loving home, and thanks to the amazing efforts by Wayside Waifs, thousands of animals every year are able to find their FURever home!
