A: Strutt With Your Mutt is Sunday, September 24, 2023 - returning to Brookside in Kansas City, Missouri. The fun begins at 7:30am and last until 11am.
A: Strutt will feature certified timed races with dogs and without dogs, and the popular 3K walk with or without dogs.
A: Kid's Dash is also returning for kiddos 10 and under. Kids receive a t-shirt, race bib, and ribbon. The Kid's Dash is a 100 meter dash through one of the event arches.
A: Returning Wayside Awards include: Top Fundraising Team, Top Individual Fundraiser, Largest Team, and Best Canine Costume.
A: The Youth Fundraising Match is returning! Wayside has a wonderful donor who continues to be inspired by youth philanthropists and will be matching up to $15,000 in donations. Anyone 18 yrs and under will have their gifts matched.
A: The Flealess Vendor Village will be returning. Please note booths will be properly social distanced to help mitigate the crowd.
A: Registration for the event is per person, not per dog, so if your spouse or another family member wants to walk with you, registration is necessary. Children ages 10 and under are free to walk/run with you. If they would like an event t-shirt and a kids ribbon, please register them for the Kids Dash for $20.
A: We encourage you to arrive early to ensure you have plenty of time to park. Parking is available in the parking lots in Brookside and on the streets surrounding Brookside. Check out a map of the area here.
A: No, there is no obligation to fundraise. However, funds raised from Strutt are crucial to Wayside serving 6,000+ homeless pets annually. Your registration and any additional fundraising goes directly back to the pets.
