Buddy Bear and my cat, Mr. Friendly, both came from Wayside Waifs. The ASPCA brought these guys from overcrowded shelters in Iowa and Louisiana. Wayside Waifs helped them find me!
Strutt With Your Mutt is an annual fundraiser for Wayside Waifs, Kansas City's largest and most comprehensive no-kill adoption campus. Wayside cares for nearly 6,000 abandoned, abused and homeless animals every year. It's mission is to partner pets and community for life.
Wayside is an animal welfare organization that provides animal adoptions, animal rescues, foster care programs, humane education programs including No More Bullying!, the Bark Park (an off-leash dog park), Whiskers & Wags (on-site pet retail boutiques), pet memorial services, and volunteer opportunities.
Funds raised from Strutt With Your Mutt supports Wayside's life saving mission by providing care for homeless animals year round.
