This annual event is more than just a walk; it's a powerful fundraiser for Wayside Waifs, Kansas City's largest and most comprehensive no-kill pet adoption campus. Every year, Wayside Waifs provides care, love, and a second chance to thousands of abandoned, abused, and homeless animals. Their mission? To prepare people and pets for the bond of their lives.
Wayside Waifs goes above and beyond with services like animal adoptions, rescues, foster care, humane education programs (including the impactful No More Bullying! initiative), and outreach services offering low-cost vaccinations and spay/neuter clinics. They even offer the Bark Park for off-leash fun, Whiskers & Wags pet boutiques, Pet Memorial Services, and countless volunteer opportunities for animal lovers.
