I have always loved animals, but my passion for Wayside Waifs started in April of 1996 when I visited the "old" Wayside and adopted our beloved KC Thunderbird. Later that summer I joined the Board of Directors. The memories and blessings that came with that soulful dog! Wayside Waifs is very near and dear to my heart. We've opened our home and hearts to several homeless animals through the years, each and every one has brought pure love and joy to our family.
