Camp weeks are broken up by grade level. This way campers have the opportunity to really connect and bond with their peers. Each day, there are new opportunities for campers to learn about and help animals at Wayside Waifs. Each week, campers learn about animal welfare topics, animal related careers, and the power of giving back. Not only will campers have the opportunity to help animals at the shelter, but they will also be doing activities that center around the importance of practicing compassion, self-control, and responsibility with animals and people. We'll have lots of opportunities to work on team-building activities, get our bodies moving and, oh, did we mention there will be cute, furry animals EVERY.SINGLE.DAY?
Utilizing as much of Wayside's beautiful 50-acre campus as possible, we'll have plenty of outdoor time, including water days! Who knows, maybe we'll even help some animals cool off with some outdoor bath time!
From creative projects to creating promotional videos for the animals, we're sure that there will be something for everyone! Sign-up for one week, or multiple, but be aware, space is limited!
