Harold Melcher loved animals and he loved being at Wayside Waifs. His philanthropic Harold Melcher with one of his Waif Alums support, keen business sense, vision and guidance not only charted the path for Wayside at a very pivotal time, but his unwavering support and passion also saved thousands of abandoned, abused and homeless animals at Wayside. Through our work we will continue to honor his legacy and vision. He will be deeply missed.
